I had the dreamiest of birthdays last year. I went to a retreat at Carlton Landing with Erin and Andrea, and it was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be! Carlton Landing looks like an east coast town, and it is magical.

There was yummy food, spiced cider, a roaring fire pit, pumpkins, blankets, and all-things-fall. I want to go every year. We had a sunrise workout by the lake Saturday morning followed by the best brunch.

It only solidified that I want to move to the East Coast one day.

On Sunday, we made a little brunch of our own at home with the kids.

Another little part of my birthday celebration was getting to meet my friend Jennifer at Juniper for drinks, dessert, and coffee. Juniper is one of my all time favorites. Give me one of their piping hot cobblers and french press, and I am one happy girl.

The ladies I work with treated me to Old School Bagel, pastries, fruit, Starbucks, fresh flowers, and a beautiful card for my birthday.

We also celebrated Erin’s 30th birthday at the beautiful Dresser Mansion! The music was definitely a trip back to high school for us – or college for Josh’s age and up.

The weather was so nice in October. We spent a great deal of time outside on the back patio. October really is my favorite. The temperatures, the flavors…

One Saturday morning, Ms. Faith gave us an extra pan of homemade cinnamon rolls to enjoy. We drove to a local park to have breakfast and then explored for a bit. It was a beautiful morning outside!

We were able to spend time going for rides in Josh’s truck, sometimes with the top off which Everett thinks is just the best thing on earth. We made it to the park a few times, too.

We also made too many trips to STG for gelato…Everett loves to sit on the old tractor at the Farm.

Pumpkin Patch and other adventures…

Too much happened in October – splitting up these posts!
