Still working through the past few months. Here is a look into March (-) Easter.
On a trip to OKC, we ventured to Urban Farmhouse. It is gorgeous! We are HUGE fans of Fixer Upper, and it is just like Joanna Gaines’ style. They were having a wine tasting and the place was hopping. Everything is staged so beautifully there. Everett was SO TIRED and fell asleep while we were browsing. They had a cute little play area for the kids upstairs that Elisa enjoyed. We definitely need to go back!
One weekend, Josh and Hank tackled the back patio door. It needed to be replaced so bad. We were so grateful to have Hank come help. The transformation was well worth the effort!
Emily came to Tulsa for work, and we set aside one night to meet up for dinner. It is always so good to see her, and it is so nice to have a friend that you can jump right back into conversation with like you never missed a beat. Maybe one day we will live in the same city again. If I remember correctly, we met up for dinner at Lucky’s on Cherry St. and then to Hodges Bend downtown after. Of course, she loved Hodges Bend. I mean, how can you not?! So good.
As spring started to take off, we enjoyed some time out on the patio.
I was fortunate enough to sneak away for another girl’s night! Hannah put together a group of ladies to try out some local eateries with, and I was glad to be a part! I invited Erin and my sister to tag along, and we had such a great time! Even stayed out past midnight! Ha! First, we went to the Hen on Brookside which I guess has changed to Bin 35 Bistro. It really was delicious. After dinner, we headed over to Hodges Bend…then to the Penthouse at the Mayo to end the night. I like the Mayo so much more now that I don’t slave away there! We all need to meet up more often!
Everett got his first “big boy” professional haircut. He looked so different afterwards! Such a cute little blondie.
